Treavor G:

1. What are you reading right now?

The Art of Racing In The Rain by Garth Stein

2. How many books have you read so far?

I’ve finished 1 book (All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr) and now I’m working on my 2nd.

3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?

Unlike past #Readathons, I’m living in the moment this year. All the books I’ve picked have been simply what I felt like at the time. I just hope whatever I go with next is as good as the last two have been!

4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?

Of course! Life gets in the way. This year doing the #Readathon with Dan S. has added something unique to the mix as well. I just look at interruptions as taking the bad with the good. And man is this #Readathon good.

5. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?

I think I’m most surprised at how energized I’m feeling right now. In years past, I start to get a little tired around the halfway point, but having a buddy to do this with sitting right next to me has kept the energy at an all time high.

Dan S:

1. What are you reading right now?

Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe!

2. How many books have you read so far?

I’ve completed 1 book (The Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger) and now I’m on my 2nd!

3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?

I’m most looking forward to continuing to read Robinson Crusoe. It has been everything I had hoped it would be and so much more.

4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?

Yeah I’ve had quite a few interruptions because I’ve been doing this #Readathon with Treavor G. So while we’re reading we’ve occasionally interrupted one another to talk about our books. Also every day things have provided some minor interruptions. There really wasn’t much to “deal” with. I think it’s all just part of this enjoyable experience.

5. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?

Going into the #Readathon I had doubts that I would enjoy this experience, but now here we are halfway through it, and I’m feeling energized, enthusiastic and ready to go. I think the longer the night goes on, the more “pumped” I’ll be. It’s quite the achievement!
